From 17 June 2019 tourists from Australia, United States, Canada and Japan will be able to samba the night away without applying for a visa at their local Brazil consulate.
The 90-day tourist visa will be granted to visitors upon arrival and for those really embracing the local vibe wishing to stay longer, an extension of 90 days is possible.

The new rules apply to all people traveling to Brazil for tourism, business, transit, or to perform sports or artistic activities.
